How It Works

4 steps to a deck
that lasts.

Clean & Prep

We remove all old product, dirt, grey surface wood and mould. The timber needs to be clean before anything else happens.

Grain Brushing

Our rotating brush machine opens the timber grain without removing fibre. Zero damage. Maximum oil penetration.

Premium Oil Application

We use two premium products depending on your timber's needs:

Watson's Timber Stain — 3 coats, deep colour & protection.
Cutek CD50 Clear Oil — 2 coats, original penetrating wood oil for maximum protection.

Clean Up & Aftercare

We leave your property spotless and hand you aftercare instructions so your deck stays beautiful for years.

Deck Surface

per square metre

Full grain brush + 3 coats Watson's Oil. Edges and corners included.

Edgeboard

$35/ml

per lineal metre

Sideboards, fascia and all exposed edging treated to the same standard.

Steps

$60/ea

per step

Each step treated individually — top, riser and sides. No shortcuts.

Columns

$100/ea

per column under 3m

All four sides brushed and oiled. Fixed rate for columns under 3 metres.

Minimum job: $1,000 AUD · 50% deposit to start · 50% on completion

Common Questions

We've heard it before,

Won't grain brushing damage my timber?+

Grain brushing opens the timber grain without removing fibre — it's the opposite of damaging. Sanding is what damages timber. Our machine gently lifts the grain so oil can penetrate properly and last longer.

How long does a standard job take?+

A standard 40m² deck takes one full day. Larger jobs may run into a second day — we'll always give you a clear timeframe before we start. No surprises.

What if it rains while you're working?+

We keep a close eye on the forecast and work around Queensland weather. If rain interrupts we reschedule at the next date that suits you — no stress at all, amigo.

Do you guarantee your work?+

Absolutely. With proper aftercare your deck is protected for 2–3 years. If anything doesn't look right within the first year, we come back and check it out for free. No questions asked.
